Very embarrassing that the team with the worst GAA in the league spanked us(Kings top 3 in GAA) 5-1 in our own building! You go 11-7 in your lineup every night, you put too much fatigue on the forwards and you minimize generating offense by not even using the max 12 forwards in your lineup. Hiller kills offense, end of the story! He should go back to being an assistant coach where he belongs!

That was just silly. I liked it at the time beacuse it was entertaining in a shitty game... im not sure what Hiller. was actually thinking with that move. Even if he get some reps in practice, thats something you'd want him to play real games - and that makes no sense.. you'd have to send him to Ontario for a bit if. you were serious.

Do people actually think the Kings are going to beat EDM, Vegas and whoever comes out of the central by holding those teams to 2 goals a game? Not only are those teams super talented, but the rules of the game are geared towards offense.

Not playing the way did tonight but yea I think they can. In the Central they have trouble with Colorado but otherwise can beat the others. Dallas is in a down year.
Vegas would be tough but they arent untouchable and Edmonton is not like they were last year. During their 20 game win streak last year they obviously had another gear the Kings werent gonna touch. Hopkins and Hyman came back down to Earth a bit now and they lost some team speed by losing some of the young guys and playing Perry and other vets up the lineup.
The league isnt all that great.
Really Washington at their best has been the most impressive team this year I watch a lot and have not been all that impressed by anyone else. I know you like Minnesota but I still dont see them going a deep run.

These last 2 losses, Kings exposed for their lack of goal scoring and weak PP. They are not gonna win a Cup playing like the '95 Devils trap game. This is becoming more of a goal scoring league, and Hiller is badly handcuffing our forwards offensive capabilities.

Kings went 2-3 on their last road trip. The next 5 game road is even harder! CBJ's, Wings, Panthers, Bolts and Canes. 4 of those teams play very well in their own building(Wings only 1 game above .500 but overall have been playing a lot better as team). Panthers/Bolts are back2back games, so which ever night Rittich plays, that's a guaranteed L!
