Dadonov for me, he has no use on PP and is a non factor 5on5. Drouin is helping the PP1 until Matheson is back at least.

Dadonov provided the screen on Anderson's goal and made some nice plays to maintain offensive zone pressure.

I'm starting to see his hockey smarts, although the legs don't move as fast as they used to.

Because he's a rookie and the Habs won 3 games in a row, I would let Slaf sit for one more game. Give Dado and Drou another chance to increase their value one more time.
Realitically, and honestly, we all know at this point they have no value. Magic Beans will not work on a GM now that Bergevin is an errand boy.

Dudunov aint worth s*** though, we gotta face the truth, he aint bringing anything of value even if he starts producing a bit. Just sit his ass.

This is who it should be...............but it will probably be Dadonov.
Why should it be Drouin? He has played way better than Dadonov, no way he sits before him.

His gaffes have been plenty................the Detroit game alone was enough to be scratched but we had two guys serving suspensions.......a PP assist on a rebound last night is not going to change my mind.

No one cares
They probably should just leave the lineup as it is. Give Slaf another game upstairs and see who comes out after one more game, things are going well.

Dadonov. As long as it's not Slaf I don't care that much.

Also, Armia should be in the "rotation". He's currently playing okay so I wouldn't scratch him now.

I thought Dadonov looked great 5v5 in the last 2 games. Good effort, a lot of Ozone time and a few scoring chances. Confirmed by a 65% xGF.

If he finds his good form he brings more on the table then Jake. I would sit Evans to keep Dads motivated.

Dadonov is the easy pick imo, unless we use him on the PK again. Drouin is on the first wave of PP that is improving pretty much every game. Evans and Armia both play on the PK.

i am against not putting Slaf back in. Let Drouin sit and learn from the pressbox. Maybe he'll have an epiphany. And TBH, I think Gallagher needs a few games rest too. He looks gassed after every single shift, including game's first.

I mean, based on the game against Pitt, there wasn't any forward I can look to and say that he should sit out next game. But the reality is that someone has to come out. Dadonov was okay, but there is no better alternative to sit right now.

Drouin didn't make that line go the way Dadonov did. And Drouin didn't make the Evan's and Arima go the way Slaf did. So, imo Drouin is the best candidate to sit. I feel more comfortable with what Dadonov brings than Drouin's erratic play with the puck.

I agree, Drouin keeps giving these sparks of brilliance once in a while...

Dadonov not so much...
Even though I thought he was fine.
Dadonov had a great game, actually and screened the G on the Anderson goal to start things off, but he would be headed to the press box IMO.

Drouin, if he keeps hisshots low from the point, has value on the PP as he can pass or give rebounds for Monahan.

Your love of Drouin clouds everything :)

Personally, either Dadonov or Drouin, but if it is Drouin, I think Slafkovsky just gets saddled with Evans and armia and I think that's a complete waste for his development.

Unless St-Louis goes:

Caufield - Suzuki - Dach
Slafkovsky - Monahan - Anderson
Hoffman - Dvorak - Gallagher
Dadonov - Evans - Armia

I'd be okay with that.

Drouin was being used at the top of the umbrella on the primary power play. He had some good moments in that role, so I dont think the Habs will be changing that up for the time being.

I was encouraged that he was not afraid to letting a one timer go, and he showed an ability to get the puck through which led to the monahan game tying goal.

So when it comes down to a player being used at the top of the umbrella on the primary PP versus dadonov who I believe is on the secondary unit, we can already see how this domino will play out by default.

He's not costing goals either so MSL is probably fine with him..
Dunno i think i saw at least 2-3 giveaways by Evans yesterday. He did not play a good defensive game at all. I think it should be Evans. Dandonov and Drouin played ok yesterday. Evans is not bringing anything atm outside of winning faceoffs. But since we need to sit a winger i dunno i'll let MSL decide maybe give Slaf another game break and see who crap the bed next game. Or try Drouin at center?

He got 2 points for last 2 games, so i would let him plays on the PP.
I would like to see him plays with Monahan and Slaf for a while . I am sure that they could play very well together .

Yeah he made a good play on the goal but also turned the puck over numberous times, as per usual.

I don't want Drouin at the top of the umbrella on the pp short or long term. So that won't keep him in the lineup for me. But if MSL wants to try it, it's not the end of the world.

It's really between Pezz and Dadonov. With Pezz scratched yesterday, it seems to be the next one on the waivers.

But who cares really. Only on the defense it's tricky, with the return of Matheson.

Do you wave Kovy or Wideman. Wideman seems to be the choice, but we'll see.
