I don''t have a long essay to type here, i just want to know who you guys think is better and why ?
In other words who's team would you rather have ?
NJD. And for me, it's not really close

Almost as if the Devils were missing their top defenseman for the entire season or something.Devils goaltending was bad but in order for us to have gotten statistically average goaltending it would’ve taken above average actual goaltending. The defense was atrocious (in sizable part due to the coach they just hired lol)
They played worse under Green while getting better goaltending from Allen & Kahkonnen somehow. I still think their are better coaches out there than Lindy but it pretty much showed that he wasn't really the big issue. I want to see how he works out in his return to Buffalo because he will have plenty of talent to work with up there. They need to snap this playoff drought about now.Almost as if the Devils were missing their top defenseman for the entire season or something.
It amuses me when the obvious case for the Devils being better was that last season went pear shaped entirely to all the key players being hurt for lengthy stretches but some people insist on using "Lindy Bad" as the argument.
His failure went beyond a single season, his record with the Devils was 128-125-28, this includes a season where they won 52 games.I'll go with NJD, but I think Lindy gets too much flack for an injury riddled season with terribad goaltending. His successor that season was even worse than him. I'm not really sold on Keefe either; his home playoff record is terrible, and that says a lot about his ability to match lines.
But, as I said, NJ seems to be more likely to make noise. They've done it before albeit with a good coach, but who's to say a healthy Devils team won't come out on fire again? I worry about their defense, but everything else looks solid. Buffalo hasn't proven anything, so NJ pretty easily for me.
Devils should be a playoff team unless bad bad things happen. That being said, I feel like metro was extremely competitive last year and will be next season as well. West is probably done before TDL again and metro will be decided later in the spring.every year for the last decade i been saying this is finally the year Buffalo..... and every year they disappoint me that being said NJ look really good alot of good and young players on that team

Dahlin is useless as a defender. I mean the clue is in the name. His job is to defend and he's not doing that effectively.Dahlin plays on the right side and is the best defenseman between the 2 teams
Finns do not completely embarrass yourselves when talking about Dahlin challenge (IMPOSSIBLE)Dahlin is useless as a defender. I mean the clue is in the name. His job is to defend and he's not doing that effectively.
