I used to be able to answer these questions but losing to the Habs like that made me think I know nothing

Alright... tough nut to crack I see.

Onto the next question I guess. Alright, Arthur Morgan and John Marston, eye to eye, mano a mano, classic wild west showdown. Who has the quickest draw, who leaves in a body bag? ;)

Gotta relate somehow buddy haha.

Rangers. Theyre nit a good hockey team. I'll take my chances with their hot goalie. Boston isn't very good either anymore.

The worst team we can.

The only team is rather not face is the reigning Cup champs, though I am expecting them no be out before the cup finals.

Every team is beatable

So is that just the worst team standings wise at seasons end or do you got an opponent in mind that you think is destined for that now out of those teams?

We're the team everyone in our division wants to face IMO.

Meh, I bet if you asked Tampa fans they might not agree. They've bitch slapped Boston a couple times in years past and also Flordia just last year. We're a complete unknown to them despite our playoff failures. Who knows how that match up goes.

Let's be honest, opposing fans love to rip on our lack of playoff success. Can't say I blame them, it is sad at this point. That being said, anyone with a brain and any sort of knowledge of hockey can see how talented this team is. Maybe not this year but they will break through at some point as long as this core is intact.

Losing that many game 7 winner take all match ups in a row is just the hockey gods and lady luck giving us the finger at this point. A shot going a inch in the other direction here and a bounce angling off the boards a couple degrees there can make all the difference in a hockey game.

Losing to the toilet seats is not a lack of luck, it is a lack of mental fortitude.

I wanted to break my TV and nearly puked after that series. Should of been a easy win, I was just as disappointed as any of you.

Looking at it objectively however, game 5 and 6 in OT were a bounce or 2 away from advancing to the next round like I stated earlier. Game 7 however was the most infuriating performance I ever seen from this iteration of the team . Only watched it once and don't ever plan to again, but a gutless display to my recollection and I'm not defending it by any means.

I think beating Boston in the first round will be a pretty massive boost for team morale and confidence, Carolina would be good so we could expose Freddy

Is there really much of an advantage being at home nowadays?
Teams seam to play more relaxed on the road today.

Generally, teams are only slightly better at home due to the last change rule but there are a couple of important exceptions:

Colorado at home this season:
20-2-2

Colorado on the road:
12-6-2

and especially:

Florida at home this season:
23-3

Florida on the road:
9-7-5

At this point, I don't care who we face if these guys don't figure out how to keep their foot on the gas through 7 games. We've faced top teams in Washington and Boston. And we've faced fringe playoff teams in CBJ and Montreal. No matter how strong the opponent was, they've choked out games they should have won.

I want home ice advantage against Boston, I think they're the 'least strongest' playoff team in the East.

Exercise those demons. Cruising past the Bruins in the first round would be most fitting, changing with the times.

Maybe they need to be the underdog by playing against a powerhouse team like Tampa or Florida, but that can wait until the 2nd round where I think they'd be better prepared.

Picking a team implies fear of others. Homey don't play that.
