McDavid kinda reminds me when M Jordan came into the league with the Bulls. He was phenomenal to watch, nobody could play the game like him, but he didn’t win until they put better pieces around him & he used those pieces.

If Florida wins tonight, I gotta think it's got to go to Bobrovsky. And while I'm an Oilers fan, I'm a hockey fan first and foremost and it's wonderful to see Bobrovsky having a Patrick Roy impact and run throughout these playoffs. It seems like a lifetime ago that he played for the Flyers and the Blue Jackets. Happy to see during the back nine of his career that he is performing at this level. He has always been a pretty clean player, with a good attitude and work ethic. While that doesn't earn you a Conn Smythe, even those who are not cheering for Florida can see that he is playing at an incredible level and definitely deserves all the accolades at this point.

Well it shouldn't. That's what I mean. Conn Smythe is MVP of playoffs, not who was good in finals when you finally tuned in. 3 rounds it was Sasha and it still seems to be.

I'm not even a Bobrovsky fan. I just think it's such a team effort, and Barkov's defensive greatness is getting a little embellished now (it's hfboards. That's how it goes). Florida didn't really do anything to the Rangers that the Canes didn't. The difference was Bobrovsky > Andersen. Florida didn't win that series because Barkov > Aho (even though he is).
