breaking news- somebody has to play in their absenceEvans? I don't know if anyone could short-term internally. After this season? If we get a legit 2C, Evans can take the reigns and learn. It will take a while before he can fill his shoes on the defensive end.
Armia? I don't care. He doesn't give a consistent effort, and we shouldn't be fooled by a contract year. Replace him with whomever. If we don't get the return we want, he's good as an own rental to take advantage of his contract year effort. To be fair, he's always been good in the playoffs, but he hardly ever helps his team to get there in the first place.
rookies will be demidov, beck and kappy next season at forward. Dvorak, evans and army will be goneDavidson and Roy maybe for the rest of the season.
Kappanen and Newhook next year.
Breaking news - just get warm bodies from the team you will be trading with?breaking news- somebody has to play in their absence
Breaking news - crushing players spirits, by inserting some “warm body”, while focused on a playoff hunt isn’t the recipe for taking next step in development / progression of 53% of the rosterBreaking news - just get warm bodies from the team you will be trading with?
It’s not really rocket science lmao
Management will not risk losing players to free agency for nothing, that is piss poor asset management fans should criticise and require a valid explanation for. This would hurt the team more than trading away Evans/Armia/Dvorak for a pick and "warm body." Players are competitors, but should also understand the business side of hockey.Breaking news - crushing players spirits, by inserting some “warm body”, while focused on a playoff hunt isn’t the recipe for taking next step in development / progression of 53% of the roster
Maybe we should build these poor wee fellas a safe space too... this... is still hockey, right??Breaking news - crushing players spirits, by inserting some “warm body”, while focused on a playoff hunt isn’t the recipe for taking next step in development / progression of 53% of the roster
