Celebrini is 3 years younger than Hutson and already better defensively.
One was drafted in 2022, the other 2024.
Hutson is outscoring him by 45 points so it doesn't really matter.

I don't understand 95% of what point you're trying to make.View attachment 1005609

Also, have you seen the trailer for the Naked Gun reboot??
Neeson is the perfect choice. His stint on Life's Too Short is one of the funniest things i've ever seen in my life. You cant have naked gun without the goat.
edit: LOL trailer looks hilarious
Imagine if Celebrini wasn't as amazing defensively, his +- would probably be closer to -100 instead of -32, which is already top 5 in the whole league. Compared to Hutson who's only -6! If only Hutson wasn't outscoring him as well...Celebrini is 3 years younger than Hutson and already better defensively.
Oh no. A +/- argument. This will go over well.Imagine if Celebrini wasn't as amazing defensively, his +- would probably be closer to -100 instead of -32, which is already top 5 in the whole league. Compared to Hutson who's only -6! If only Hutson wasn't outscoring him as well...
Defensemen take longer to develop in case you haven't heard. How can you compare a defenseman to a centerman defensively? And how can you possibly state what you have just stated without even watching hutson play 1 single game? Since the 4 nations he's litteraly at the top of the defensive stats in the league for defensemen.Celebrini is 3 years younger than Hutson and already better defensively.
Poor Demidov even loses out to Cole Hutson1. Bedard = McDavid
3. Michkov = Kucherov
2. Celebrini = Barkov
4. Hutson = Subban
5. Demidov = Galchenyuk
This is a bold statement. In fact they're all bold statements except the first.Defensemen take longer to develop in case you haven't heard. Your statement simply doesn't have legs to stand on. Hutson is the better defensive player and he's a defenseman. You can't compare defensemen to centermen when talking defense, it's not compatible. This is a bold statement. In fact they're all bold statements except the first.
Raw potential and you have Bedard ahead? He's got the least potential of those 4, he's nothing special at all.In terms of who I’d want to build my team around today.
- Celebrini
- Hutson
- Bedard
- Demidov. He hasn’t played a single NHL game, so he’s last by default
By raw potential imo,
- Bedard
- Demidov
- Celebrini
- Hutson (tricky to rank a d with forwards)
Celebrini
Hutson
Bedard
Michkov
Demidov
The thing is i think a player like Barkov is more valuable than a guy like Panarin or Marner. Lists will be different depending on how much people value points over two way play
I just did and Macklin is better defensively.Your statement simply doesn't have legs to stand on. Hutson is the better defensive player and he's a defenseman. You can't compare defensemen to centermen when talking defense, it's not compatible.
No marner is good defensively but he's going up against Barkov in my exampleThat’s cute, you think Marner is not a fantastic two-way player
Of the five players listed, my take is that if I somehow had the option to choose one of them on my team, I'd easily take Celebrini. He's simply the most complete player of the five. Bedard and Michkov are better offensive weapons, but it's not like Celebrini projects to me that his offense will be lacking. Hutson is a nifty offensive defenseman, which I'll admit having a slight bias against. I have no idea how to judge Demidov.
