Who will end up as a better player: Bedard, Celebrini, Michkov, Demidov or Hutson?

5. Hutson. ok, at first it was a meme, but it went too far and it looks like people actually believed he would be a star. He is an offensive defenseman and can score some secondary PP assists. But he doesn't have the tools to make a real difference like Makar or Hughes and he's very average defensively.

So many fallacies in this part of your post.

Hughes rookie season
28 ES pts vs 25 PP pts, 52.8% ES pts
Hutson rookie season
37 ES pts vs 25 PP pts, 59.7% ES pts

Hughes rookie season
23 primary assists in 68 games, 0.34 A1/g
Hutson rookie season
24 primary assists in 74 games, 0.32 A1/g

Hughes rookie season
2.86 GA/60 @ 5v5 @ 16:39 TOI/G
90.51 on-ice save%

Hutson rookie season
2.57 GA/60 @ 5v5 @ 18:17 TOI/G
90.19 on-ice save%

Hughes rookie season
0.05 rush attempts/60
Hutson rookie season
0.23 rush attempts/60

Bedard - Elite first line forward who has become far more versatile due to necessity of accommodating his supporting cast over the first years of his career. Grossly underrated at this point by people who are only tracking his points and not witnessing what he's forced to attempt to accomplish on the Blackhawks.

Celbrini - Same tier, but just a small step behind Bedard.

Michkov - As offensively gifted as Bedard, but with some gaps in his physical and defensive play that render him overall less effective.

Hutson - A tier below the other three due to defensive weaknesses, despite his having strong reads and stickwork. His physicality will always limit him, as we see with his inability to clear the crease. Requires a proper partner to help shore up those issues and thus will not be as effective in isolation. Other Habs fans underestimate those limitations and the significance of his poor underlying numbers, even if other fanbases underestimate both his defensive intelligence and sheer dominance in zone entries and slot-passes.

Demidov - A rung below Hutson, but still a first line forward.

Tough to say what happens in the long run but anyone who doesn't answer Hutson at this point is wrong. Almost PPG rookie defenseman who might be the biggest single reason Habs are in a playoff spot right now - it's an easy choise really.

Hutson
Celebrini
Michkov
Bedard

I'm not gonna rank Demidov because he hasn't played in the NHL yet and it's too early. (but he looks above Michkov in KHL)

Tough to predict with no consensus no 1 and in all likelihood we will be discussing in 4-5 years with no consensus who is best. Just happy to the fan of the team with 2 chances on the list.

Hype its Bedard but not sure he will separate from the rest.
Celebrini is the safe pick to pick one who will be a dominant player
Demidov may be the home run pick
This .
Any other definitive answer is beyond conjecture at this point.

This past season, the KHL league-wide average goals per game was 3.09
In the NHL, it's 3.00

Celebrini is a center on the worst team in the NHL and is 0.85 p/gp
Bedard is a center on the second worst team in the NHL and is career 0.83 p/gp
Michkov is a winger on one of the worst teams in the NHL and is 0.78 p/gp
Demidov is a winger on a KHL playoff team and is 0.75 p/gp

The fans who put Demidov on par with the other three deserve to be mocked. It insults what Celebrini, Bedard, and Michkov have accomplished. Demidov was literally tied in points with Nail Yakupov and Reid Boucher.

I've seen a couple people say this about Celebrini, just being genuine. How is he a small step behind Bedard

He's significantly better defensively and he's producing more offensively

You deserve to be mocked because you clearly don't know what you're talking about. Everyone who watched both Michkov and Demidov in the khl will tell you that Demidov was the better player

I see that you didn't bother to look at points per 60 minutes played, Demidov leads the pack significantly. So your stats are meaningless.
