Barker is an AMAZING player on the team and at this stage in his development he is the best defenseman in the tournament. Amazing young talent was the second youngest player on the u-20 team last year only behind.... Crosby.

So people think that Lee is a better pick over Barker? Lee is great but...

Give credit where credit is due. behind Barker.. Johnson is my man. The two #3s

Too be honest with you, I didn't even remember Barker was in the tournament..he never get's talked about here.

The swedish team will probably have at least 2 guys who's been playing with men in the SEL for 2 years: Oscar Hedman and Tobias Viklund. They will probably stand out. Anton Strålman has been playing well in Timra in the SEL all season as well, he might dominate.

I was under the impression that Barker was too old to play this year. Obviously he's going to be one of the top d-men in the tournament.

Don't underestimate Emelin from Russia. Was the best dman recently in a U-20 tournament in Russia. Seems to be the best dman for Togliatti team in russia.
