I'm gonna say Max Domi. Wouldn't be surprised to see him have a 60-70 point season
Whenever I pencil in Leafs lineups, I usually have Max playing with some good line mates.

You may be right. He’ll atleast be given a good opportunity.

I could see a handful of these ‘prove it contract’ players, having some serious inflated stats

If - repeat IF - Tarasenko gets that prime spot with Stutzle and Tkachuk, he could put up some pretty big numbers.

I can say the same. Montreal delusion prevalent in every thread.

The only delusional person here is you.
Do you even know what this thread is about? lmao
It's literally about predicting players that will have unexpected point explosions.

He played 48 games last season. Scored 34 points which is good for 58 over a full season.

What is so delusional about thinking he can hit 60? Lmao
That's the most he has ever had. He's never even had 40. It would be a surprise so it fits the thread. However it's being predicted by fans of his own team who dominate every thread with constant over rating of said team. Maybe try and pick someone from a team you're not a fan of so it's simply not just wishful thinking.

Some good choices that are actually possible in my opinion for massive breakouts are Bertuzzi, Ross Colton, Barzal.

Matheson was a good answer that fits this thread just fine.

I think if Bertuzzi plays the full season has a good chance of scoring 90-100 points. And I think Zacha could hit PPG+ as well. Whoever plays LW next to MacKinnon and Rantanen could also hit 80+ points. Those are the 3 guys I expect to have career years.

I think you underestimate how difficult it is to hit 100 points. Only one of the Leafs big 4 has done it. I don’t think Bertuzzi is going to come in and be the next one.

I was thinking that Laine is way too talented to not have a 55 goal season but that ship might have sailed with Babcock around Columbus now.
He's only ever scored 40 in a season once during his entire career.

He has scored at a career 35 goals per 82 games pace.

I highly doubt that Babcock will be the issue if he doesn't hit 55 goals in a season.
