Mckegg tenure here was always popping into the lineup when we needed him the least.this idea doesn't have the leges to go the distance
Said it before, not just giving it to Fox is galaxy brain.
It actually says volumes that our so-called "elite" players have not been considered captain material in over a decade.Maybe the reason why we keep having to trade our captains is because we give the C to non-elite players?
Looking up to the sky everytime he doesn't agree with the ref, is not something that i want the other players to follow that kind of leadership and Fox doesn't care about his bad play. because if he did, he would have worked on his skating since he's been in the leagueI thought it should have been Foxy before they announced Trouba. He’s not the vocal guy but he’s a competitor and one of the absolute best players in the game. He’s extremely even keel, never too high and never too low which is a phenomenal leadership trait. He’s also young and he’ll be here for a long time.
That easily enough could be Laf you are describing in the above reply . I don't see Laf as captain material at this time....maybe in 3 years he might be if he outgrows the entitled look after a missed chance on net .Looking up to the sky everytime he doesn't agree with the ref, is not something that i want the other players to follow that kind of leadership and Fox doesn't care about his bad play. because if he did, he would have worked on his skating since he's been in the league
Agreed. I think he has that dawg in him, but he's become more of a finesse player this season. If he can capture that Landeskog-like skill/grit mentality, and I think he can, I'd be all for slapping the C on him. But it's going to take time.Is Laffy the future of this franchise? If he is, you start molding him, now.
So what you're saying is he represents THIS team well?Lmao at Kreider votes. When he shows up every game we can discuss him.
It absolutely should not be anyone from the rotten core. Truthfully they should all lose their letters.
