Who will be tanking for Gavin McKenna in 2025-2026?

....I'm not going to be able to watch this kid without thinking of Steve McKenna..

We have a jersey ready for him

Has McKenna ever been tried at centre? I'm sure he's gamebreaking but he has to be something else to be rated so high as a winger tbh

Is he franchise or borderline generational?

If Ken Hughes keeps MSL as coach next year, the message will be clear...Why not Gavin McKenna

SJ is still a bad team. But with the play of Cellibrini and Smith having a solid year, they may want to surround them with good veteran players. But, their D is in line for an overhaul due to their expiring contracts in 2025 and 2026. I don't imagine Grier wants to leave his HC hanging with another bottom 3 roster to begin next season. If the players tune him out due to the losing, hard to bring him back for a 3rd season and it would be the 2nd HC he's had to hire and fire.

Curious to see how Grier plays this upcoming off-season.

As long as Buffalo remains purposefully cheap and employs a grossly unqualified GM…they’re tanking despite what they tell you or what they believe.

Pittsburgh. The league couldn’t handle the Pens without a superstar

But I think Pittsburgh will end up with Landon DuPont.
Last presents from Uncle Gary before he retires.

Then the leagues gets to have another "passing the torch" moment between Sid and McKenna/Dupont that will touch the heart of millions.

This offseason is going to be so interesting with a major cap increase and a very talented draft approaching.

RE: Pittsburgh: I also have a shitty feeling McKenna will end up there because reasons. But if Sid is around, I don't know how they're the worst team in the league.
