All of those players are around top 12 in salary, and while some don't quite meet your arbitrary top 12 cut off, none of them got paid for putting up 150 points.

I'm sure you will ignore this again, I exaggerated a scenario to highlight the fact that the highest salaried players have the most intense pressure to hit offensive marks, so they risk defensive play for offensive results. You may not agree.

None of those players are in top 12 in salary.

They are all in or around the top 20 in salary. They are some of the highest paid players in the league, and none are particularly offence first players.
