I don’t know who is first but I could see a very real possibility that Power is not with the Sabres in a season or two, while the other 2 are likely safe with their current teams for the foreseeable future.

SJ is still too early in the rebuild. And Chicago has shown no signs that they want to give Bedard any help yet whatsoever.

Don't disagree with what you are saying, but Buffalo organization wanting to win doesn't seem to be helping....they are currently dead last in the East and limping towards their 14th consecutive playoff miss.

Sharks could be there in 2 years. They got the destination. Got their 1C and 2C, 1D and 1G prospects. If sign a few big names, they will get there quick

Sabres as long as they don't lose patience and sell a bunch of their dollars for 60 cents again. They're closer to competitive than their current position in the standings would suggest.
