I'm guessing the Pens hate is because of either the Kasparitis side of net goal or Crosby..?

Never for the Bruins hate. Sure the Lucic - Miller thing, but aside from that, pales in comparison to my Stars & Leafs hate...

I'm a Vancouver Islander who has been a Sabres fan from the very day the franchise traded to get a beloved Canucks rookie named Michael Peca. From there, I followed coach Nolan to Long Island (the only time I cheered for the Isles was when the ex-Sabres coach & Peca were there, Nolan leading them to an improbable stretch run and 91-point playoff berth against all expectation (costing him his job for defying management by not tanking).

Highest point: Loved when Juneau came to town and the franchise made the Stanley Cup run.

Lowest point: When Briere and Drury couldn't lead them to the promised land (in those slug ugh uniforms no less!).

Greatest acquisition: Steve Ott. Thanks for the memories!
Greatest loss: Tyler Myers (Really, was it that necessary to trade away a young bona fide top pairing dman? Loved that guy.)

Favorite Sabre: Miroslav Satan and... Ryan Miller! (When the NCAA star signed to play in Buffalo I went on a three-day bender~! Had a bad day when he was traded away).

Least fav Sabre: Chris Stewart (in the heartbreaking Miller-Ott trade, did squat for us). I'm sooooo glad we got a 2nd rounder for shipping him to Minny!

Commitment: This season I've watched every single Ted Nolan press conference (pre-game and post-game). I seriously believe Nolan, Girgs, Ennis, Risto, Foligno, Des, Eichel (yes, Jack Eichel, full stop), Myers (bringing back Myers:cry: or trying to replace him), Reinhart and acquiring a 1G, 1W, 1D and 3D are needed to make this franchise a cup contender! :yo: We are three years away, if all goes well.

Pens because every fan you talk to of theirs is the biggest, most knowledgeable fan ever and has been (yeah right), plus Crosby indeed. Lol.

Bruins because of the ECQFs a few years back, plus I have an irrational hatred for the Patriots and I think it carries over to the B's.

Being from Germany, my first introduction to to the NHL was NHL 2000. I didn't know anything about the players besides their rating (I thought Paul Coffey was just a borderline NHL player :speechles). I quickly became a fan of the dynamic play of Kovalchuk and so the Trashers were my team till his trade to the Devils. I was really hyped by the 2012 Cup run, then everything crashed. They became as lame as possible and took all of the fun out of the NHL for me. I'm looking forward to great memories with the Sabres :nod:
