Those stats do, but our own zone play by skaters on odd man breaks, rush chances and wide open looks on goal say different.Team stats say Columbus.
Edmonton is interesting considering so many are picking them.
Edmonton league ranking this season for team defensive stats:
Fewest shots allowed: 10th
Fewest scoring chances allowed: 7th
Fewest high danger chances allowed: 1st
xGA against: 8th
Goals Against: 15th
Team save%: 19th
Stats say a good defensive team with below average goaltending.

Columbus has the most goals scored by d men in the entire league, so offense is the best defenseStatistically, it’s Columbus.
Also this is the first time you asked me how I feel.Like team defence?
Defencemen?
Who do you think OP?
Foxy ladyIf you consider the Rangers in the playoff hunt it is their Foxless D core.
Actually ? @HockeyVirusIt's the Leafs.
I think some of their fans are starting to realize how terrible Carlo is but it hasn't fully set in yet.

That makes it seem like hates the Leafs or somethingNo one should seriously be making any judgments 2 games in. First game had a bad like 2 first shifts and was very good rest of the game. Utah I only saw 1 period of the game and the Leafs were up 3-0 at that point so idk
Even the oilers? They have 3 NHL calibre D on that blueline and only one is good in his own end.I'd take any team's over Toronto's, not really close.
How about now ?Columbus has the most goals scored by d men in the entire league, so offense is the best defense
BrutalMinnesota has been decimated with injuries to Spurgeon, Brodin, Middleton and a few games missed for Faber.
We've been icing 3 of Bogosian, Chrisholm, Merill, and previously Dermott.
I kinda think Lindell is actually their best defensive D-man. That IMO is dooing the heavy lifting.Fortunately there's Heiskanen (when healthy) and Harley to do all the heavy lifting
Harley is a +26, as that seems important to you, and plays more minute in tougher matchups.I kinda think Lindell is actually their best defensive D-man. That IMO is dooing the heavy lifting.

Well, +/- is kinda important for D:s. It tells your team score more than your opponent when you are on the ice.Harley is a +26, as that seems important to you, and plays more minute in tougher matchups.
