Edmonton is interesting considering so many are picking them.

Fewest shots allowed: 10th
Fewest scoring chances allowed: 7th
Fewest high danger chances allowed: 1st
xGA against: 8th
Goals Against: 15th
Team save%: 19th

Stats say a good defensive team with below average goaltending.

Those stats do, but our own zone play by skaters on odd man breaks, rush chances and wide open looks on goal say different.

Lots of teams give up big chances. Lots of teams also have goalies who can save them more often. You guys look like us doubling down on Campbell and Samsonov the last half decade.

Not the worst but I can't believe Dallas didn't do more to improve their D. Rock solid in the 1 through 3 holes and then their entire right side are #6 D

Don't ruin the narrative with stats!

The Oilers goaltending situation has made evaluating the team challenging IMO - the tandem has been that bad, outside of a 2 month stretch where they were decent and surprise the Oilers lost like 3 games in that stretch.

My soul died when our inept management decided to stay the course in net for another playoff.....FML.

No one should seriously be making any judgments 2 games in. First game had a bad like 2 first shifts and was very good rest of the game. Utah I only saw 1 period of the game and the Leafs were up 3-0 at that point so idk
