I think he can do 60 pts again if he's given top 6 time.

Even if he does get back in the NHL, it won't be in the top-6. He's simply not good enough anymore.

I see a different team giving him a chance if LA retains salary. Whether he makes good on that second chance is a completely different story.

He was an overachiever with Flyers.

This dude wasn't really ever projected to be a 75-80pts player.

Some guys just won't last as long as others, have short peak.

I never been a fan of "cannon ball"..

Mike Richards is a special human being from what I understand. Numerous reports of his acts of charity have been heavily reported. Visits to hospitals, charitable events, and large cash donations to name a few. He gives to the community more than most.
My prediction is hell attempt a comeback but may fail.
If he does fail he won't hold the Kings hostage by having them endure cap hell.

Instead he will retire with a lot of money left on that contract.

I can see Dustin Brown doing the same.
Its the right thing to do. Players should feel ashamed about stealing money.
Richards is first class.
