Who else is not excited for Playoffs?

Seeing that the playoff avatars thread is now on page 2 with only 3 games to play, I guess it's safe to say the excitement level isn't peaking right now!

For God`s sake what`s with this whiney threads, we have even infested the main boards. If you don`t feel like it, don`t watch it. Maybe they will be a dark horse maybe they will be swept with Price putting last year`s Fleury`s performance to shame.
As a fan it`s your duty to watch and cheer for your team, sometimes you have to take the rough with the smooth. The team was insanely fun to watch earlier, now it`s horrible and it sucks, but they are still my Habs and I will hope and believe until they are down 5-0 with 10 min. to go having already lost 3 PO`s games. (then I`ll be pissed and disappointed until next season)

I was super pumped up untill last week, really don't like the way we are playing very concerning, you can't expect to just flick the switch when game 1 of the playoffs start. Also don't wanna play leafs in the first round would rather they play boston and beat each other up

Yes, the team has been playing poorly, and has been losing in the worst fashion possible.

Is it fine to dread the playoffs? Probably.

But I'm going to be following them with excitement, and I'm not going to act like they've already lost.

May I remind everyone, especially the guys coming into this thread not wanting to discuss the content, but merely want to discuss their feelings about me, that the thread is titled - "Who else is not excited about the playoffs?"

I'm glad many of you are excited about the playoffs. Good for you. However, you are not me, and I don't live my life trying to live up to your expectations. If you can't discuss the thread content, why bother? Go piss on a Leaf at their board.

I NOW actually want to play the Leafs or Boston as my top two choices. A while back I was afraid of both, but not today.

Boston - because we usually play well ag them

Leafs - because I love the rivalry.

If both teams beat us up, it's not my fault we like smaller players.

If they play this poorly against the leafs it will be a disaster. Of all teams to lose against it will be the leafs who havn't made the playoffs in 8 years, let that sink in.

At this moment, not greatly. They still have a week to put it back together, but when the team is giving up 4+ on a routine basis, its genuinely tough to get into it.

But this doesn't compare to 2009, not even close. I knew nothing good was going to come of that year.

I might be different here. I grew up in Buffalo, NY, and every Wednesday we watched Hockey Night in Canada every Wednesday and Saturday. Either Leafs or Habs were on of course (only 6 teams back then).

I love Habs and brother loves Leafs. It has pained me to see my brother NEVER get any playoff pleasure watching his Leafs while I was racking in Cup after Cup.

I love my bro and I would love for him to experience the joy of watching his boys win. I know I'm going to get flamed for this, but if the Habs don't win the Cup, I hope the Leafs do. I want my big bro to feel the joy I have felt many many times. (He ain't heavy, he's my brother!) :yo:

This team has always won when it mattered. They will be ready for the playoffs. They won't give any game away then.

From second to last in the league last year, to the playoffs the very next..... not too shabby at all. And c'mon...damn near anything can happen in the playoffs....

I'm not excited one bit if we face Toronto.

It doesn't matter who they ice, what the stats are, which team is hot coming in...they will come into the series confident and play like a powerhouse against us. It will suck.
