Who else has very little interest in the Four Nations tournament?

I would get the excitement of watching Crosby with McDavid if they were both in their primes, but I don't get why some people are so excited about watching a past his prime Crosby with McDavid.
Probably for the same reason I flew across the country for a Judas Priest concert last year - because the opportunities to see them are growing fewer and fewer, and he's still good.

I am so excited to see the Finnish offence. No country has seen their beat play together in years and while this isn't the olympics and not all countries are involved, it still should be a very fun tournament to watch.

M.Tkachuk, Matthews etc for US.. Crosby, MacKinnon, Makar, McDavid for Canada.. Aho, Barkov, Rantanen for Finns.. Nylander, Pettersson, Hedman etc for Sweden. Its gonna be fun.

The fact Crosby is going to play through an injury for this should tell you how seriously most players are taking it.

Gonna be fantastic hockey, don't understand the people who don't want to watch
Honestly, my fellow Canadian fans have soured me on international hockey. The incessant whining about the team and how they think they could make a better one, and then the "I told you so" if Canada doesn't win, as if that proves the team they wanted was better.

Why only 4 teams. Lmao.
Because realistically only 5 countries can make a claim for the top team in the world... and f*** Russia.

I'm kinda surprised by the apathy. The players seem to care about this tournament, for that reason alone I'll at least watch a game or two and make my decision whether to continue from there.

The players do care, it's the best of the best tournament. USA vc Canada with best players will always be heated, plus there's a side to this I'm not supposed to get into :)

The tournament isn't true best on best but the games will be.

Don't think I will be convinced why Canada-USA or Finland-Sweden aren't interesting best-on-best matchups.
