Boston, followed by Carolina and Colorado if we get that far. Oilers would be fine as a finals opponent as well.

I am delighted to see multiple responses of this type! If it is Florida, it is, but wanting Boston is applaudable. I see Toronto prevailing against either one.

Wouldnt the Rangers be the best ECF matchup? The only other Big2 team in the league.

The only 2 teams left that the Leafs should legitimately lose to are Dallas and Vegas. Everyone else is flawed and beatable. Boston is still scary af tho

You think Florida will be easy if they come back down 3-1 against the presidents trophy winners winning 2 out of the 3 in their barn?

If anything they’ll be more dangerous with the momentum they’ll likely have should they win tomorrow.

Florida's goaltending is laughably bad. If Toronto's $30m men can't beat that then there's serious problems.

Boston's veteran savyness and goaltending is a far scarier mathcup than Florida
 
Boston is the better team and we have home ice vs FLR. Lets hope they can pull off the upset tomorrow.
 
As much as I’d like revenge on Boston I’d much rather see them lose to an 8th seed in the 1st round after their record season. If we move on and they don’t the embarrassment would be revenge enough.

Add in home ice and the chance to fill Bobrovsky’s net and I think we’d have a better chance to see the third round. I don’t need a Cup run to be storybook I just want it to happen.

Look, if I was FORCED to pick., I'm ALWAYS going to want home ice, because it's always better to have home ice than not have home ice

But the truth is I want whoever earns it, and whoever wins will have EARNED it, just like the Leafs did.
 
Never really felt what it's like to wait and see who you'll face for your second round opponent. Feels odd and pleasant at the same time!

It would be More interesting to face the Bruins, the Rivalry is bigger and I want to See the Leafs kicking out Boston.
But in my opinion I would have a better feeling against Florida.

If Boston loses to Florida, then they will pick 24th in the upcoming draft. And the Leafs have that pick because they got it from Washington for Sandin at the trade deadline.
If Boston beats Florida then they would pick perhaps 32nd (if they win the cup). The Leafs would get that pick.

This is a little much. I had them in the Finals, but if they play like they did against Tampa, they aren’t beating anyway else.
 
Florida only because I want Boston to suffer the indignity of having the best regular season in league history and then go out in the first round.

A buddy of mine is a Boston fan, when Boston was up 3 -1 in the series, I was chatting with him, he said the series is not over, since the TDL the new players are not fitting well into the system and are not playing "Boston Hockey" , he shared he was worried that Florida would come back. I told him he was being stupid... Uh....

 
Whichever series won’t play this Thursday and Saturday. Stupid commitments

That said I think there is little chance the Bruins lose today.

We all know that for any respect, it's Boston that we need to play and beat. Anyone else and you know no matter what we do, all we will hear is "........ but they didn't beat Boston."

We've already got one King Kong sized monkey off our backs. Now bring on one Godzilla sized dragon for us to slay.......
