I'm thinking Jack.

I think Fred gets the go ahead.

The line of thinking is "We should be able to win regardless".

I think Fred gets one loss in these playoffs. If he wins he'll get another shot.

Fred. I don't think we would have won last night with Fred in net, but we need to get him some game time and we can't expect to run Campbell into the ground. Montreal will almost certainly go with Price again, so we have to expect a drop-off in his caliber of play and expect Fred to be able to match or exceed Price's efforts.

If the Leafs played the full 60 like they did the first 40, this was easily Campbell as he was having an easy night in net. That last 20 was taxing, so it's a bit of a discussion now. I say you talk to Jack, if he feels strong and rested you go back with him. If not, Freddy.

The jittery Leafs can't afford confidence building feel good events.

If Andersen lets in some softies, and they lose this series. The decision to play him will not age well.

Alternate goalies on back to backs to avoid injury. The strategy should change.

Scenario#1: Campbell starts and goes back to back, game is naturally slower tighter checking and less work for him. All things being equal he has a relatively easy game and we win. He gets to rest another off day and all is good.

Scenario #2: Campbell plays back to back, diminished performance or aggravates his nagging injury and is out for an unspecified amount of time. Andersen comes in and either redeems himself or loses the series for us.

Scenario#3: play Andersen, worst case scenario is Andersen sucks and we lose but Jack gets an extra days rest for nagging injury with series tied

Scenario #4: Play Andersen, if we play like we can he wins with either a mediocre showing or stands on his head. Campbell has an extra days rest and we have confidence that Andersen can go in and win a game when necessary.

I want Campbell in, but it really is dependant on how he feels which none of us have a clue.

Winnipeg and Edmonton both played their starting goalie both ends of their back to back.

I would prefer a Freddy start and have Campbell play the last 3 with proper rest if required.
Don't think we go deep with 1 goalie. Campbell has been extremely prone to injury
Lets not push our luck.

Honestly really depends on if Jack is dealing with any sort of nagging injury.

He just can't get injured right now.

Andersen is a risk though. Good chance the Leafs get out-goaltended. While the Leafs are ahead in the series you don't want to give Montreal momentum and a chance to get some confidence.

Probably should have Rittich as an option though he hasn't played in awhile.

It feels like if your starting Andersen then your content losing tonight and going home 2-2 instead of having a 3-1 lead imo. Yes Freddy has a decent track record vs Montreal and is for hungry to get a chance, but if Price is good to go, Campbell should be ready.

I'll leave it to the coach, imo your going to see Andersen in net tonight to protect Campbell.

The boys gotta come out hard tonight and show them that they can hit us all they want but it's not gonna break us.

Jack is better but this what we hope to be a LONG play off run. Do we want to risk running him into the ground or worse injuring him?

Id go Fred
