Which Wildcard Team do you prefer?

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
    • Our 2025 light and dark themes were lost, so we are rebuilding them. Light theme is currently available, but work in progress

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

In the meantime, feel free to join our Discord Server

With the 10 point lead and the Jets magic number being 10 now it is likely safe to safe we will win the West.

I think Utah would be the easiest matchup by far and probably the least likely. Next would be Vancouver who still has some really good players that could cause us issues like Hughes but I think we could take them over 7 games. Then Calgary which the major issue there would be running into a hot goalie in Wolf. St. Louis is next and they still have a big solid defensive team when healthy. Last is Minny who when healthy are incredibly quick and lethal.

I feel like Utah has played us pretty well. I think we could beat any of them, but my choices would be in order:

Vancouver
Utah
Calgary
Minnesota
St. Louis

Binnington scares me a bit because he has the ability to get really hot as we've seen.
Vancouver in my mind just can't score or prevent enough in a series to win
Minnesota is below Calgary simply because of their propensity for dirtiness, and they have some dynamic scoring
Utah works really hard and has good structure but I don't think they have the horses

I prefer teams that are sinking in the standings and aren’t playing well Currently that’s the Wild. I feel like Wolf and Billington might play out of their minds in the playoffs and steal a series and prefer not to face any hot goalies
