Speculation: Which teams would realistically be able and willing to sign Draisaitl if he didn't sign in Edmonton?

When he hobbled on one foot a couple years ago in the playoffs he was still super effective.

I think his IQ will go nowhere when he ages.

That might be an understatement.

In the Calgary series in the playoffs that year he put up an unbelievable 17 points in 5 games hobbled on one leg.

That has to be one of the greatest playoff series performances in the history of the sport.

It was also the worst 5 game series a goalie ever played in the playoffs, Markstrom was complete garbage, a GM shouldn't look at those points as a wonderful performance when deciding an offer

The Flames D allowed like twenty breakaways or 2 on 1s, they should hold a lot of blame, but the truth is they just could not handle McDavid, Draisaitl, Hyman, and Kane in that series after period 1 of game 1.

I remember there was one sequence where McDavid/Draisaitl scored on basically a 2 on 1 down low, the goal was disallowed, and then the Flames allowed another 2 on 1 break down like twenty seconds later to the same two players which counted.
