That's misleading though. He's only played one season where he played more than 26 games. He's played 173 NHL games and is only 22 years old. Dmen don't usually come into their own in this league until they are 25+. The most concerning thing regarding Drysdale is if he can stay healthy. He's way too young to write him off completely already.
He's also playing under Torts now and not playing PP1 like he was in Anaheim previously so I think it's natural to see his point totals to take a hit.

I hope he can improve, but so far Drysdale has been disastrous on D: outscored 62 to 30 at ES. And he's been injured a lot.

Cutter is 2 years younger and projects much better.

Even today it's hard to argue that he isn't the better player right?

Cutter is very clearly the better player while being much younger and less injury prone.

This isn't even remotely close at the moment.
