I believe in Gauthier a lot more than I believe in Drysdale.

Same. Gauthier hasn't proven he can cut it yet, but the jury's very much still out.

Drysdale is getting to the point that he's starting to prove he can't. He's in his 5th year in the league and has been a poor 200 foot player for the entirety of that time, and now even the offense is starting to dry up.

What's going on in Anaheim?
In my head I'm always in the space like 'oh yeah, these guys can draft and develop' meanwhile I guess my head space is like 15-20 years ago.

"He's in his 5th year in the league"
That's misleading though. He's only played one season where he played more than 26 games. He's played 173 NHL games and is only 22 years old. Dmen don't usually come into their own in this league until they are 25+. The most concerning thing regarding Drysdale is if he can stay healthy. He's way too young to write him off completely already.
He's also playing under Torts now and not playing PP1 like he was in Anaheim previously so I think it's natural to see his point totals to take a hit.

Flyers will need to hit the draft pick because Drysdale ain’t looking like anything.
