Even 1 point is tough there. Not sure the last time they ever won there?
The board's in that arena make things interestingI don't know what it is about the EIA but it's such a tough place to get two points.
Maybe Gaymes is moving but Garden and Lemieux aren't going anywhere being 08 rookies. Garden sits 1 of 3 games so maybe resting h I m mentally during this 6 in 9 stretch their in. Winegard in lineup last few games but very limited time is maybe to see if Bowler can add him to a package to move him on this year or in case Erie acted up.With the odd line up selections we seen tonight and the healthy scratches one can only conclude there is a trade in the works. Too bad, I thought Gaynes, Lemieux, Garden was a great energy line. They are all young but formed a very good line.
I heard the same. Would be a nice addition and most likely not very costly. In my humblest opinion we need to really strengthen our D to take on the likes of London. We can score with the best of them , but our D is soft.Onto trade talk. Heard a couple days ago that 05 non-drafted D Mitch Young could be a target. Make a good OA candidate next year. Good size 6-2. Scores same rate points per game as Cristoforo. Likes too lead the rush which we have too much already from our 06 D. Difference is he is a hitter as well. Colorado gave him invite this year to camp. Defensively an upgrade to Woodall or Cristoforo while still maintaining the points. 11 goals last year. Has 25 points in 32 games this year. Bowler liklely talking to many teams it seems as he should

Those are great numbers but look who they played. The Soo 2x last place team, Flint, Guelph in a rebuild year, and perhaps the toughest was Erie who Windsor should beat handily. Not to discount the great efforts and surely is a confidence booster but lots of hard work lay ahead if you want to win the west.In the last 6 games in which Windsor is 6-0 Greentree has 8G,8A,16 points and Protas has 6G,10A,16 points as well.
Should note in the same stretch Abraham has 4G,8A,12 points,Davis has 6 and 6,12 points, and Nesbitt has 4G,6A in the same time frame and like I mentioned before Belchetz has 7 points in his last 4 games 2G,5A,team tough to stop when scoring like they have.
Last 6 games Windsor has scored 40 goals and have allowed 21.
Actually Windsor has won 7 in a row,I didn't include the 1st win a 3-2 game over London after losing in London the previous game 4-1,Yes London was missing 3 guys that night at Team Canada's camp, and Windsor was missing their best defensive dman Mathurin but London still had 10 drafted by NHL teams in the lineup that day and Windsor had 3,just mentioning for context. Those are great numbers but look who they played. Mitch Young’s an interesting one. He plays Top 2 minutes in Sarnia. Imagine he’d be a good fit on the second (or third) pairing here with Walton, and I’d bet on him having an OA year.Onto trade talk. Young would be taller than Hicks by 1 inch and 2 in on Cristoforo Woodall Eichler Manzo.Mitch Young’s an interesting one. He plays Top 2 minutes in Sarnia. Imagine he’d be a good fit on the second (or third) pairing here with Walton, and I’d bet on him having an OA year.
Wonder if a Young acquisition phases out Eichler. Both are a bit physical, decent size but not huge. Young’s better and higher offensive output too. A non-import upgrade, that could then free up an import spot with maybe an 06’?
Exciting time to be a spits fan. Excited to see where the chips fall, kinda hoping it’s all done soon enough for everyone to be in the lineup Friday. Maybe I’ll take a roadtrip.
