Hearing a big trade being talked about sending Marques from Lethbridge and picks to Kelowna for Cristall… let’s see where this goes.
I'm sorry but I can't resist, it's hilarious that Anholt is going after Cristall so hard after leaving him off of the WJC team.

That'd be an amazing get, Yager and Cristall are gamebreakers and that's exactly what you need in the playoffs at the junior level. Med Hat is probably the only other team in the league that comes close to having multiple game breakers. Everett has lots of great top 6 players and depth, but no one on that team is a gamebreaker. Same as it ever was in Tips land.

But we'll of course have to see how the TDL shakes out. :)

Chatter sounds like Calgary adding a World Jr D today.

I know Willie in MH doesn't like moving the 1s and going "all-in" but they are going to be left behind if he continues to run his organization that way.

Calgary adds Birnie (RD) for some non roster players and picks. RD third highest scorer (although that doesn't mean much) to play their third line.
That team is a wagon right now.

I still think whoever comes out of the East is going to get flattened by whoever comes out of the West. Calgary thinks they've got a shot and half rebuilt damn near half of their team on the fly this year.

I think the league is super wide open this year and any team could win

Lots of things can happen in the playoffs, including injuries.
I think the top seed in each week have a significantly easier schedule though, especially in the East, which will help out.

MH is poised to lose Basha, St. Martin, Ward and Wiesblatt after this year. Wouldn't that make this the year for them to really go for it vs next? (Obviously they will be pretty damn good next year as well).

Big week ahead with the deadline on Thursday, what’s your guy’s predictions where players go and who adds?
I do think Cristall will end up in Lethbridge. Prince George needs a defenseman, could see one of Price or Molendyk end up there.

I'm sure Seattle would love to move Ratzlaff, but I'm not sure who would be looking for a goalie.

Red Deer will keep making moves, I'm sure Lind will be on a new team, possibly others.

Really you think Lethbridge adds again? They look terrible again… down 3-0 to Edmonton for the sweep

I don’t see PG giving a bunch of picks to Kelowna for Price, PG’s main rival.

Price also played really dirty in PG this year and was goading Ziemmer on after one of his dirty hits. Molendyk makes way more sense as he’s from Mcbride, as well as Saskatoon being an eastern conference team.

Wenatchee is going to be picking up a goalie from someone. Word is they thought they were getting Kykkanen from the BCHL, but then he changed his mind last minute and the Hauser trade had already gone through. Calgary wouldn't include Miller in the deal, so the Wild were left scrambling to find someone.
Brandon, if Eskit isn't far away, should have an extra goalie soon. Luke Brunen is available, but unproven. The Pats might part with Huet and hold onto Mulawka for the remainder of the year. All of these could be done for a future year mid round or later draft pick.

Not a big player move, but if I was Kamloops I would move my Saskatoon and Vancouver 1st round picks to Everett for their own. Then tank the season and go for a lottery top 3 pick. The top 5 picks will be much better than the bottom 5 of the 1st.
