I took Forsberg as well but thought bout Crosby as well.Honestly, I think Forsberg from that list. I know it's cliched.
I've seen Marner and Matthews in quite a few Game Sevens. Frustration ensues.
people do a lot of recency bias and McDavid was bad in game 7, so that's what sticks.Crazy how my poll right before Game 7 for Crosby vs McDavid in Game 7 SCF, McDavid won in a landslide. After losing now Crosby is way ahead of him here
Crazy that there’s no Rempe optionCrazy how my poll right before Game 7 for Crosby vs McDavid in Game 7 SCF, McDavid won in a landslide. After losing now Crosby is way ahead of him here
People on here know what they're talking about every once in a whileHuh, I thought I'd be the only one picking Hasek. Pretty cool to see he's winning the poll so far
Comparing raw stats is pretty misleading. A significant portion of Roy's career was in the 1980s when the average sv% was much lower due to the higher scoring era.Hasek
Small sample size but dude sports a .946 save % in G7's
1.56 GAA
ROY
"Patrick Roy was 6-7-0-0 in 13 games with a goals against average of 2.47 and a save percentage of .908 in the playoffs in his career in G7's"
Easy answer: Patrick Roy
Mcdavid is the best player on the list so him. Recency bias will make people meme, but Crosby has no issues nearly leading the poll with his 0-0-0 14% FOW, in his sole SCF game 7.
Forsberg came up in a similar "winner take all game 7" poll about a year ago. So some digging was done and he feasted early in series, but wasn't actually all that impressive for game 7s.I took Forsberg as well but thought bout Crosby as well.
Also although I'd prefer goalies in a separate poll Roy and Hasek have to be in consideration.
