Which "free" acquistion would you take?

I noticed the Rangers' two biggest needs are a Top 6/9 forward that can drop the gloves and contribute offensively (preferably a LW) and a RH PPQB. I feel Lucic and Letang epitomize those two needs the best, while being fairly close in value. By free I mean no assets are given up and cap hits are not a factor.

This is more or less my take on the situation, as well.

You consider that the Rangers haven't had a dman score 50 points in a season since Leetch, coincidentally not having a good PP in all that time, and it outweighs the novelty of a big, angry forward.

My original instinct was to go with a better player in Letang. But in the contexts of this team which is already pretty good albeit without an offensive weapon like Letang. Lucic on the other hand addresses this team's need. So Lucic is it for me.
