A redo of the smaller poll from a few days ago. Some players are always mentioned first when discussing a team. Often it's a duo. Which one gives you the most nostalgia? Not from your own team or rival team - pick an unaffiliated team.

Comment on who you would have liked to see included with adjustments as desired. I would enjoy seeing someone start a poll with older combos as well (either as line mates or advertised in broadcasts together).

Choose 10.

Vanek and Pominville to me , I remember in 07 or 08, Buffalo and Anaheim were the top dogs

These are fun but they don’t reach back far enough. Lafleur and Lamaire. Rocket and Pocket Rocket. Howe and Lindsey. Orr and Espo. Keon and Mahavlich.
Clearly the Twins are the most unique duo.

Define rival. As a Flames fan are we not allowed any selection from any Pacific teams or just Oilers and Canucks duos?

Also for the Flames, Iggy/Tanguay wasn't an iconic duo. It was Iggy, Kipper as the sword and shield of the team.

Devils duo's I think of before Parise/Zajac.

Stevens/Niedermayer, Elias/Sykora and Madden/Pandolfo.
I think Madden-Pandolfo was incredible. They understood each other so well.

Jokinen and Horton is an odd option, as they didn't played on the same line consistently.
Before they got lines of their own tonlead, Jokinen-Kozlov was pretty good.

Or for the more nostalgic fans MacInnis/Suter
