Sochi's spending has ruined perception of cost to host an Olympic games. No one in Norway supports the bid. Winter Olympics will have lots of difficulty in the future if they're not brought down to Vancouver level costs or even lower. That's why Pyeongchang is a terrific host for the next one, hopefully it starts a norm so more cities start bidding.
