Got this thread idea from the Sabres forum, so just like the title says, where will all you guys be and what will you be doing Saturday night for the season opener?

Some friends are coming over to watch the game at my place, whether we win or lose one thing is for sure, we are going to be drinking a ton of beer haha.

Wings and pints at a local sports bar with a buddy. Saturday can't get here fast enough.

Hoops on Bremner Blvd... I'm hoping that I'll be able to get a spot. Plan on showing up around 5pm. :)

It's my birthday on Saturday so I'm pretty pumped - gonna do Hoops then hit Bar Hop up on King to celebrate with a buttload of brews!

Working and then watching on Gamecenter when I get home around 11 :(

You could always walk down Richmond or Esplanade. Plenty of bars.

^^Ewww keg of budlight. I have 2 taps of homebrew in my basement. now that's living.

Anyway we're heading out to a local bar - gotta support the poor guys who've been hurting the most this season, ya know?

But in any case....

GO LEAFS GO!

I haven't seen too many games at downtown bars - my buddies prefer to stick to the chain places, so we're usually at Boston Pizza, St Louis, Hoops and the like.

Any solid suggestions for watching the game beyond that? Minus the Loose Moose...

Hey what's wrong with the Loose Moose? I love that poo-hole!

I'd think most places will have the game on but for chains, the Jack Astor's on Richmond usually has a good atmosphere but of course it'll be busy.

I loved the basement, hated the upstairs. Basement was closed/renovated and is now a "lounge" where they apparently don't show games anymore.

They don't? That's upsetting.

pvr'ing the game since I have tickets to the colts game, when they originally signed the CBA was hoping for a 50 game schedule so the first game didn't fall on the 19th

Have a new townhouse (temporarily) in Barrie. I'll be watching from here :)
