Where will you be/What are you doing for the season opener?

Just wanted to say great post - some of the most ecstatic people regarding the lockout, will be those business owners who have been hurting because of the lack of hockey.

It's nice to see them acknowledged.
 
Unfortunately it's my mother-in-law's birthday, so me and my bro-in-law will be on the rec-room couch watching while she opens her gifts. Then race home after Grapes to catch the 2nd.

But usually I watch the game on the couch at home with my wife. It's my favourite spot. Been enjoying it with her since we signed Cujo. I'm very fortunate to have a leaf fan for a wife!

But I gotta admit, I'd love to come to TOR for a night and enjoy a game at a great sports bar in the city. Hamilton's sports bars are usually full of mixed fans, so there is always negativity, especially for the Leafs.
 
Girlfriend is having friends over, im expected to be a gracious host.... Blaaaahhhhhhh :(

the wife thinks i am insane :laugh:
 
Flying the flag in the UK, there will be 6 or 7 of us, Wearing the blue and white with some beers on the go, game starts at midnight, GO LEAFS GO !

You're kidding me. That place was friggin' packed every game - totally one of my favourite places to watch hockey. Literally a playoff atmosphere every game.

Shame they went all hipster on us. So where's the next best place? And don't say "RealSports"!
 
Either going to Waterloo to a buddy's to watch and have a few beers (or 12), or at my house in Mississauga to do the exact same.
 
Of all the nights . . . I'm getting dragged to Cleveland for the annual Boat Show. Made those plans months ago and despite my best attempts, I can't get out of it, although I might try throwing myself down the stairs tonight and claim that I'm 'too sore' to head out tomorrow

Otherwise, PVR for sure, and I'm keeping the radio off in the car so I don't spoil it.,
 
I'll be going to Dubai yo in the most expensive hotel, gon' have *****es naked and dancing, while watching the game, that Patron be poppin' going to also have a personal chef cooking steaks the shape of hockey pucks...

Yep, good times, I mean it's just the season opener, nothin' big right, I know I know I'll do more to make my party better when they make the playoffs.
