It's still shocking that Colorado moved him over a small gap in negotiations and hilarious how he ended up back in the division in a month

IMO it wasn't about the .75M AAV or w/e, they just decided they wanted to move in a different direction, get younger and deeper.

Hopefully this series was just the first chapter in what looks like it will be an epic rivalry for years to come.

I mean the team is significantly different this year, Nelson, Blackwood, Nichushkin, Landeskog, etc. And this was a 7 game series, so it was close w/o Rantanen, and the key that helped Dallas win this game late was...Rantanen...

Wouldn't have mattered. They've had good teams with Rantanen before and it never mattered.
