Still in awe of a third period hatty plus an assist in a game 7 comeback win again the team that traded him. About as clutch as it gets.

Dallas is going to have money problems but can you really argue with the decision? Premium talent gets deservedly paid and when it mattered he's an absolute boss. After everything that happened he deserved tonight. Stars fans did too.

It’s 100 percent hilarious though that he did what he did to the avs tonight. Can’t think of a better way to return to forum. I have no love for Colorado so I love to see them go out this way.

For sure, Year after year Dallas has not been able to get over the hump and get a Cup with this group. Plenty of talent but always coming up a dollar short. I thought it was smart to add a playoff stud to the mix and go for it.

Crap luck that two of the best Stars are injured, but Rantanen came through and won the series. Stars would be scary AF with a full healthy team.

People who paid attention knew that his underlying statistics were still good, he just wasn't finding the back of the net.
