Past second round once in 8 years. He was never going to get better in Colorado.Bears repeating. I really like to see it when a traded player punishes an ungrateful fanbase. Many Avs fans totally deserved this.

Really? This is why he wasn't worth the contract. He is not a line driver, he got fed points by Mack and makar.
If he isn't scoring, most of the time he is invisible out there unless he is falling down from no contact
Dallas is going to have money problems but can you really argue with the decision? Premium talent gets deservedly paid and when it mattered he's an absolute boss. After everything that happened he deserved tonight. Stars fans did too. This is why you pony up for guys who bring it in the playoffs. Rantanen is a big time difference maker, and just added a huge chunk to his growing legend tonight. Still in awe of a third period hatty plus an assist in a game 7 comeback win again the team that traded him. About as clutch as it gets.
Wouldn't care, still win a Cup.I predict Rantanen doesn't score another point this playoff until a 5 goal game 7 to win the Cup over the Canes.
Because he was. Tonight doesn’t change what happened after the trade in Carolina. He sucked in Carolina and early Dallas days. That can be excused though. He still deserved everyone word of “shit” that went his way for that situation for what happened in Carolina.Does Colorado regret trading him now? Hat trick in game 7 to oust the Avs.
All I heard for the last few months is that this guy is a passenger and his carcass was being carried to points by Mack/Makar.
Ouch.
Legendary performance. He must feel on top of the world.
For sure, Year after year Dallas has not been able to get over the hump and get a Cup with this group. Plenty of talent but always coming up a dollar short. I thought it was smart to add a playoff stud to the mix and go for it.Dallas is going to have money problems but can you really argue with the decision? It’s 100 percent hilarious though that he did what he did to the avs tonight. Can’t think of a better way to return to forum. I have no love for Colorado so I love to see them go out this way.
I mean the team is significantly different this year, Nelson, Blackwood, Nichushkin, Landeskog, etc. And this was a 7 game series, so it was close w/o Rantanen, and the key that helped Dallas win this game late was...Rantanen...No. Colorado would still lose if Rantanen was on the team. Why does everyone think that he would suddenly help Colorado beat Dallas now? He lost to them last year...
Man I love this forumOne of the all time anti-jinx threads. This site is truly undefeated.
1 in the 1st 4 and 11 in the last 3 is pretty wildThat bum Rantanen with only 5 goals and 12 points in 7 games... where indeed
Hockey images that preceded disaster.
