None of the media asking what’s going on with him or barkov either. No goals in 7 games, no points in the last 5
What doesn’t help is moving him away from in front of the net on the PP.
yes that is one of the biggest problems. When compared to last season, both Bennett and Montour were injured and missed tons of games this autumn. One of the best net front players, our PP doesnt work.
Makes no sense to change it up
I was under the impression that a sternum fracture should be healed by 6 months. Whys he still hurt to the point where hes a literal non factor?I'm not concerned about Tkatchuk. The team is winning. He's clearly not at 100%. It's like he can't be as physical as he would like to be and he's kind of lost without this part of his game. He'll be fine once he's 100% healthy or he'll figure out how to adapt his game. He's just too good.
Non factor? LmaoI was under the impression that a sternum fracture should be healed by 6 months. Whys he still hurt to the point where hes a literal non factor?
Yea, hes a non factor almost every game. Hes obviously still messed up. Glad you think its funny that he has a worrying injury that hes not admitting to. Some injuries nag forever too. And if this is the tkachuk we have going forward, thats pretty much it for our chances of ever winning anything. Its so bizarre that people bring up his low shooting % and just assume itll go back to normal without realizing that his shooting % is down because his shots are terrible. They dont even remotely resemble the snipes he took last year because hes clearly still injured. His shooting % wont be going anywhere unless he heals. And he barely tries to tip shots anymore either. He did that a ton last year. He doesnt get into it in front of the net even close to how he did last year either. And hes not laying the body. Its worrying since he said he was 100% before the season started and thats just not true.Non factor? Lmao
I wish all non factors had 18 points in 23 games. Bennett is on pace for 30 points, he been a non factor also? They’re in a slump, slumps happen. People freak out about the dumbest shit, they do it with Barkov as well. Who watches the last few games and says they’re non factors?Yea, hes a non factor almost every game. Bennett was never as good as you probably thought he was. Hes a 40-50 point player. He played long enough on the flames for us to see this. Tkachuk overachieved a bit last year but hes still a ~95 point guy when hes healthy. Hes not slumping, hes invisible. He has basically no impact on the games. He was always noticeable last year even when he wasnt scoring. That just simply isnt the case this year. Thered be a pretty small difference if he wasnt playing.I wish all non factors had 18 points in 23 games. Bennett is on pace for 30 points, he been a non factor also? Maybe he’s injured, maybe Benny is as well, maybe they just need to get out of their heads…but all the above about him suddenly falling off a cliff, yeah lmao. C’mon man.
You mean the 40-50 point guy he’s been so far? He’s had an injury every year but has still posted those numbers. He’s sure af made an impact on the ice, as has Tkachuk. He’s the definition of “in a slump,” invisible is Colin White last year. The thing bizarre are these posts.Bennett was never as good as you probably thought he was. Hes a 40-50 point player. Bennett originally looked like he'd be a better than ppg player on the panthers but that was just him having the opposite of a slump. Hes playing the same way he was then, just not getting as lucky. Tkachuk was playing much better last year. Its not just shots not going in. Hes doing hardly any of the things he did last year. Whats bizarre is you seeing the ghostly shell of a stud player and not understanding why hes not producing. You mean the 40-50 point guy he’s been so far? So, you say “ Bennett was never as good as you probably thought he was” then you talk about him being a better than a PPG player? Pretty sure you’re the only one who ever thought that. Hes always looked like a productive 2nd line center who is physically imposing. If you thought otherwise, I don’t know what to tell ya.Bennett originally looked like he'd be a better than ppg player on the panthers but that was just him having the opposite of a slump. I said looked like he'd be. Not to me obviously or none of what i said would make sense. Why straw man if you think youre right? Just annoying. And yea, tkachuks a shell of himself. Literally insane not to see this. So, you say “ Bennett was never as good as you probably thought he was” then you talk about him being a better than a PPG player? Now Tkachuk is suddenly a ghostly shell? You’re funny. Keep quadrupling down, though.
