Both Heiskanen and Lindell will arrive in Finland tomorrow.

Wallmark seems to miss this one too which isn’t good at all. Grundström will play though. Hopefully Peterson can arrive and play. I’m expecting a close, 50-50 game and we will need all the help we can get.

Not sure about that. Hellberg got a strong voice when he screams at someone from his goal crease, merely him dooing that, will scare/puzzle thoose obedience to authority characterized Finns
Finns are used to that, after all.. most of us spend time in the army ;)

But how many of us are used if those screams are coming in Swedish? (The fun fact of the day: even in those Finnish army units where Swedish is otherwise the language, all the orders are issued in Finnish.)

So, if there is someone yelling at you in Swedish, even the most trained military man can't necessarily tell if he's being told to stand at attention, get out of the way, or if the one doing all the yelling is just trying to order a kanelbulle with the side of some surströmming.

All Finns need to do to subdue the swedes is yell racist. You'll never see a grown man cower quite like that.

You cant usually win all the games so we may very well lose this one. I expect a close game and it may go into the shootout.

I´m kinda sad about this game. I was trying to get tickets for the game but missed. No luck in the lottery.

Some heads are gonna roll tonight - not Finland heads though.

Sweden wont play toothless hooligan-hockey as U.S of Anarchy did Monday bloody Monday against Finland.

Even if they (Sweden) got plenty o' grinders upfront to do it ... actually Sweden only got grinders upfront to do it and no proper ... centers.

The coach of Sweden - Johan Garpenlöv - will not win the 'Coach of the Year-title' this year (and no other year probably!) and he is already out come next year.
But he - Garpenlöv - anyway can be proud of that he doesn't lead a pack of headhunters like (U.S.A) that think it is all over 1972 again and "Big Bad Bruins"-hockey when it's the bloody year 2022!

But Finland got their dirty mob of their own if it bowls down to that mob-rules hockey, again, remember.

Get out of my life - coz Finland brings both pain and pleasure.

And the games against Sweden especially. History will tell and remember.
Now when we are closer than ever (NATO) with Sweden - like brothers and ... sisters.

These were sad times. I didn't know much about hockey back then and I was too young to remember 1995 gold. Finland had lost three finals during 1998-2001 and there were very little for me to be proud of. Now these kind of disasters don't feel bad at all, on a contrary it is just fun to remind how badly things were back then.

There is this one game one could always post in response... you know, the biggest rout in the history of IIHF GMGs.
I mean I've only seen that video, I was too young to know anything about that game in 2003 until started following hockey 2010 because of Granlund. I'm old enough to remember the 2006 olympic disappointment but mostly I've been here only for the good times in Finnish hockey. Finns won 1st WHC gold like a month before I was born so yea.

So quite about the right time to show who is the real brothers ... and sisters of Nordic hockey in this Finland vs Sweden game - so don't you even dare to lose this one Finland.
