Monahan was great. If we keep him, he has to want a 3-4 year contract, I wouldn't go more than that. If he wants a longer contract which he can probably get in the open market, we should trade him, as painful as it will be.

No thanks. Trade him, and use the assets acquire to get Dubois, who's younger and better.
And if we have Dubois, I don't want to sign Monahan because he will deny a lineup spot for one of the many kids upcoming.

Love the fact that MSL actually gave Dach the opportunity to score against his former team in the shootout.

Some of our previous coaches wouldn’t have done that.
