The Rangers could REALLY use a high end center prospect in the system. I'm also assuming that Arizona isn't all that interested in getting additional draft capital in return (as they have a ton of picks in the first two rounds). What about something around Othmann, Nils Lundkvist and some blocked/tweener players like Hajek or Gauthier?

If Arizona rebuild a strong team, they just might entice Matthews to jump ship and finish his career off at home.
To do that you keep the top pick, unless you're blown away with something stupid - which won't happen because Chiarelli isn't a GM anymore.
