What Will Be The New NHL Gimmick To Bring Back The Fans?

Lots of negativity & bitterness in here. :shakehead

NHL came back a better product last time. Small changes can make it better once again, but I want to see the business side fixed first. Tired of lockouts & such. NHLPA is a joke, unions were meant to protect the rights of real workers, to discourage exploitation & to help them literally feed their families... not for millionaire cry babies to whine for more money as if $2 million per year average is not enough.

I wanna see realignment. I love the idea of divisional playoffs and shuffling the final 4. I wouldn't mind seeing other small changes. I'm a big fan of having a wild card round for the #8 & #9 teams as well. You can't lose, even if your bubble team doesn't make the big show, you get an exciting taste for a game with literally the season on the line. How can that lose?

The New Gimmick should be :

1.) NO MORE TRAPEZOID!

2.) Automatic Icing(to avoid the high-speed collisions involving two players chasing for the puck)

3.) Clarkie trying to figure-skate(hilarity will ensue.....) :sarcasm:

They could have a fan vote on the dumbest thing a player wrote on twitter and the winner will wear a golden helmet for five games.

Starting in 2013-2014, NHL players will wear skates on their hands and gloves on their feet, thus revolutionizing the game in ways we never could've imagined.

Also, each game the ice crew will bury one land mind underneath the playing surface in a random location.

Bettman announcing the end of the lockout and the undoing of all the stupid rule changes set after the end of the last lockout, then pulling an R. Budd Dwyer.

I was at U of Delaware when this happened. I saw it live on TV.

one thing the nhl should do, which they wont even consider, is free tickets to the first home game of every team. Tickets available to print or pick up at the box office day of to prevent resales. Theyve already forfeited ticket profits from 34 games per team, whats another game? Thats how you show the fans you care about them. Writing something on the ice is a pathetic excuse for an apology

Bring back the glow puck from when Fox had the NHL TV deal. But bring it to real life. Play with a freaking glowing puck.

I think the league is going to be shocked by how many fans they lost.

I'm on board with this too. I can't stand that guys voice. Always sounds like he's slobbering all over the place. My buddy back home in Jersey got stuck watching the Devils/Rangers game on the Rangers feed with Rosen, and Michelletti, and couldn't stand it. I told him they're seriously not as annoying as Jeanneret. I had to watch a Devils/Sabres game on the Sabres feed on MSG with Rick, and felt like muting it before the 1st period had even ended!:help:
