Binging Attack on Titan right now and loving every minute of it. Since my girlfriend thinks I’m hilarious for watching anime and she won’t watch with me (fair enough), the shows we are watching together will be starting Silo season 2 followed by Severance season 2.

I actually was in the middle of binging Death Note before we went on our first date several years ago! To be fair, I’ve never actively tried to get her into it but she will enter the room while I’m watching just as some melodramatic inner monologue is happening and give it a good laugh. She likes animated movies and stuff so I’m pretty certain I could get her into it if I tried.

Finally got around to watching Shogun last week. As a big fan of Samurai movies I was kind of hesitant to watch it knowing it's made outside of Japan but I really enjoyed it. I actually thought it was supposed to be a miniseries but guess not.

Also watched the miniseries Under The Bridge and thought it was pretty good too.

It was supposed to be a miniseries (or "limited series"), but it received so much praise and Emmy buzz that it was renewed.

S2 update: I really hope he starts slicing and dicing with this English woman he's with

She might actually be Satan.
My advice is to quit watching after season 2 because the rest of the series is pretty shitty imo. I even kind of thought season 2 sucked from what I remember.

It's worth watching through season 4. The Trinity killer season was one of the best. Definitely don't bother watching past that though. If you do... well, you were warned.

I recall season 2 as being pretty good. I enjoyed the season arc with Doakes and him being onto Dexter. It declines a bit in season 3, though not as bad as what follows after season 4.

That’s been recommended to me to from a anime lover.

I wouldn’t say I was totally against anime though. I watched a couple movies when I was younger. Akira and fist of the North Star come to mind. I think those were the only two I watched though.

More recently I enjoyed one punch man on Netflix. I might try death note soon.

For now I’m watching the leftovers. I was watching it years ago when it came out but stopped after season 2 I believe. It’s been very good. I watched 3 episodes yesterday.

I was always sort of against Anime before I got into Death Note, really opened me up to a handful of other anime shows. Seems like a great starter anime.

I've only really watched Trigun (named my cat Vash), and few movies like Ninja Scroll and I liked that Blue Eye Samurai show from last year.

I started watching Baby Reindeer and wow is Martha nuts. Was about to start episode 4 but it had a viewer warning about sexual assault and I'm thinking I shouldn't watch it at work and I'll save it for home lol

I really liked Blue Eye Samurai but is it considered anime? I thought anime was something kind of different.

Baby Reindeer is quite the show. It's very good but so disturbing too.

Hideo Kojima called it an anime, so I say it is. lol

Sick day from work yesterday and for some reason I watched the entire series of Ja'mie Private School Girl.

Such a f***ing stupid show but it's funny. I think there's probably something a little off about the creator Chris Lilley, but this series is hilariously stupid... or stupidly hilarious.

Watching season 2 of Squid Game. Through three episodes, it's holding my attention. However it's becoming a little convoluted and implausible. I'm prepared to be let down.

I know it... declines towards the end. And I agree with S2, I've not been as into it as S1. I think because I know the novelty is going to wear off and there are only so many ways he can avoid people knowing who he is. I'm not a quarter of the way through the whole show and it's already struggling with that.

That said, S2 has picked up towards the end. I'm watching it now and am about to go on to the last episode. Disappointment awaits but it's not here yet.
