Tried watching Black Doves, but stopped watching after the 4th episode.

Sooo boring, and could have done without the overly graphic and overdone homoerotica. Especially compared to the soft PG-13/hard PG heterosexual erotica that was portrayed.
I watched one episode and after the first gay love scene I just shut it off. It wasn't nearly interesting enough to be worth sitting through.

I hear you!

I don't mean to get political since I know it's not allowed here, but I can't ignore just how graphic they made the gay sex scene compared to how tame the straight "sex" scenes were (they were more like close up face to face kissing scenes).

It was obvious they were trying to push some agenda, to the point where it could almost be considered insultingly patronizing to the shows gay viewers. Literally the only thing the gay main assasin was doing when he wasn't killing people, was having sex.

Anyone else going crazy with The Good Doctor off the air????

Man, I was literally just about to post this one on here. This was my wife's suggestion for a show and we have been watching through the series slowly. I'm not even sure what episode we are on anymore - maybe like season 3 or something? There was just a cyber attack on the hospital and Dr. Lim just fired the previous chief's niece.

It's not a bad show, but it's definitely not great. It's repetitive and formulaic. I joke with my wife about how many "never been done before" and "zero chance of survival" patients they have and how they all miraculously work out. Must be nice to be admitted to the hospital where everyone gets fixed. We also now stop the episode about halfway through and guess how the episode will resolve. We are right probably 75% of the time.

Like I said, it's not bad. It's fun to have on the background in small spurts. But, it's not great as a medical show. And it's not great as a drama. Hope it gets better though because my wife is invested lol.

Yeah, it's like who is this even for?

There are some instances in which a love scene may be part of telling a story, but too often it is just gratuitous. I don't even care for it when it's regular sex (looking at you, Game of Thrones), but it being two guys (or I think it was three guys actually) made me really not into it (not that there's anything wrong with that...).

It's 2025, if I want to watch porn, I'll watch porn. When I want a spy thriller, I want a spy thriller. There's no reason to mix the two.

If Fargo is on Hulu and Disney + includes Hulu, why can’t I find Fargo on Disney+ ?
I've been wondering the same since I ordered Disney+ last month. There's a couple other Hulu shows I can't find either but most of the ones I want/wanted to watch are there. Doesn't make sense to me.

With my HBO sub ending soon need to make the decision on which of the 4 to rewatch (sopranos, the wire, Oz or the leftovers)

Currently rewatching Veep

I guess you have to have all 3 separate apps even though you are paying in one place if you want to access 100% of the content

Im still working on it because max won’t email me a god damn confirmation

It's because Disney+ doesn't carry mature shows or movies. Only Hulu content that is somewhat family friendly will appear in the Disney+ app if you have the bundle. To watch the mature content, you'll have to launch the Hulu app.

Please tell me the opening titles for Dexter change at some point. I'm five episodes in and I already can't face watching him eat breakfast again.

You deserve to watch the opening titles on repeat for hours as punishment for liking the Deb character.

This isn't going to be one of those things where I was the only person who thought Skylar White was the only redeeming thing about Breaking Bad, is it?

Watching some old shows that I've meant to watch for a while just never got around to.

Twin Peaks - Finished the 1st season a week ago. It was decent but I'm worried I didn't like it as much as I thought I would have for a show that is highly acclaimed, and now I'm going to start season 2 which apparently gets real bad at points.

Monty Python's Flying Circus - Pretty good sketch show. Some bits don't land quite as good as others but I'm enjoying it. Certainly can see how it influenced shows that came years and years later.
As a big time Twin Peaks homer as you’ll discover if you finish season 2 and see my avatar… season 2 is good for about half the time, shits the bed for about 10 episodes then comes back with a finale that stands the test of time… then you watch the movie, dark as hell and glorious in every way… then you watch the Return and get confused as all hell because you didn’t have 25 years like I did to know everything about the show to understand The Return.. that said… finish all of it and PM me. You will be sent a link that will warp your reality of what TV can be
Well it took about 6 months after I watched season 1, but I did end up getting back into Twin Peaks, watching season 2, Fire Walk with Me, and The Return all within the last month, finishing it last night (RIP David Lynch).

Season 2 was not as bad as I initially expected, and the ending lived up to the hype. Overall, I don't know if the original show + FWWM on their own would have been something I would say I loved.

But I found the Return to be truly great. Certainly one of the better seasons in television history I've watched, and I believe it has elevated my appreciation for the original show. I look forward to a future rewatch of it all in few years.

Started watching The Night Manager starring Tom Hiddleston and Hugh Laurie. A spy thriller show but make it gay as humanly possible. Bitchy British men dressed entirely in Tom Ford face off in a very soap opera take on the MI5 genre. Real Housewives of International Intrigue. Always had a guilty pleasure itch for melodrama and this series scratched it.

Also have just finished The Rig which was kind of interesting deep sea sci-fi disaster show. I liked it. The setting of a North Sea deep ocean oil rig provides a rich environment for tension. Both series are on Prime for all the amazon bitches out there.
