He's been unreal.

Didn't get to watch last night until OT but when I saw SJ tied it up I knew whose name would be on the ticket.

Nobody here talking about what a gamer he is too. He's overcome some seriously horrendous freak injuries including a wrecked soft palette/broken teeth/messed up gums (but played in the playoffs anyway), and an arterial tear that flooded his leg with blood . . . it apparently would have to have been amputated if they didn't get to it in time. I think that was the same season he had a nasty broken ankle in practice too. This playoffs he gets his fake teeth knocked out of his mouth and blocks a shot directly off his nuts (he said he thought he lost a testicle, but everything is still attached) but didn't miss a shift.

He'll also admit when he played poorly and will say that the team isn't playing well in post-game interviews . . . honest and straightforward.

He's a gamer for sure and I'd guess the Sharks next captain.

Tough for anyone to stand out when you score 2 goals in 3 games, but he really seemed to disappear the last 3 games. I'd say the 4th game as well until that goal at the end.

The Conn Smythe is a reputation-based award that has only gone to the player on a losing team in 5 times in its history. If it were awarded on merit, it would have gone to any one of Kessel, Letang, Couture, or Burns before it would have gone to Crosby.

Couture ended up leading the playoffs with 14 goals. Second time that a Shark has led the playoffs in goal scoring. (Pavelski in 2016 with 14 goals)
