What to make of Logan Couture?

He already has 1 Smythe he should have got (2016) where he lapped the field. Sharks lost but he completely lapped the field in points.

Now he's leading in points again and could once again lap the field. If it continues then 2nd possible smythe he deserves yet he might end up with 0.

No one talks about him in the best players in NHL, and he's not even mentioned among best players of Sharks. What to make of him?

This is what makes him tick. He is fueled by the rage of not being talked about as one of the best players in the leauge. He uses that rage as motivation to outplay the “best players” on the opposing team. Playoff time it ramps into high gear.

Yoda would be concerned that he would stray to the dark side of the force for sure.

Honestly one of the most competitive players I've seen on the sharks. If he feels there is something to prove he.proves it.

Hated the attention hall would get and took it out on the oilers . Absolutely owns the playoffs.

he was injured half that year.

he's good in the regular season, but he really does kick it up a notch in the playoffs. i think he thrives of the higher intensity and competition.

Couture is a great player. He would have been on Team Canada's Dream Team of 2014 if not for an injury that season.

Okay, but if you're given the choice between a guy like Joe Thornton who plays like a Hall of Famer in the playoffs and drops to Logan Couture level in the regular season, or a guy like Logan Couture who rises to a Hall of Fame level of play in the playoffs, which are you going to pick?

Couture is one of the most effective road scorers in the league. That tells you a lot.
