Lol. Sorry but no. I'd take 1 Corey Perry before 2 Kyle Wellwood any day of the week. Perry's game will translate very well to the NHL. He's a little soft but he's bigger than Wellwood. I really like his game, and I feel he is going to be a fan favorite for the Ducks fan with his highlite reel goals.
I'd take Perry over Wellwood as well... but in terms of strengths and weaknesses, they're similar. Questionable skaters, kind of soft, but they're magicians with the puck in the offensive end. And Perry's a lot bigger than Kyle, probably 2 or 3 inches, 10-20 pounds.

McDonald beat me too it.. I was just going to add that Perry and Getzlaf played on a line together in the Ducks rookie camp (with Curtis Glencross rounding out the line) and absolutely tore it up.

Look for the 3rd guy on that line to score a lot of goals as Perry and Getzlaf can dish it. (Glencross lead the tournament in goals)

But also understand that Getzlaf was playing centre in that tournament. Getz doesn't play on the left very well and Carter plays far better at centre than on the wing. Because they want to keep Carter and Getzlaf together, the LW is the open spot.

That is the main reason why they are not together.
