When I was a kid I thought Joe Thornton's name was Joe Turn-a-ton.

His T sounds are the weird delayed/extended Swedish Ts (he says it almost like we'd say Virttanen, but with slightly less emphasis), but it's almost correct. In google translate, ype 'Virtanen' in the English box and have it translated to Finnish and you will get a correct version, although.
Weird things happen if you type Virtanen in the Finnish box and translate it to English. Becomes Smith for some reason that doesn't make any sense other than both are common surnames. Virtanen wouldn't translate even near to something like smith. Virta = Current, electricity.

As to Farv, it's a Southern Mississippi dialect thing. In French, Favre would be pronounced Fahve.
