Let's all hope it stays that way, too.Imagine if the blues, Habs and islanders close shop, the Sabres settling for just hockey trades or nothing.
Ya better like what Seattle, Penguins, the sharks, and Chicago got. The seller list is on life support.
He’d be a nice fit on the Jets 2nd line with Ehlers and Perfetti. My guess is because he just got there after being held back a bit in Edmonton and is one arb away from a deal that will walk him to ufa.
The skater probably wants opportunity that perhaps wasn’t anvailable when you’re developing behind McDavid, draisaitl, and rnh, and will use his contract status to get it. Buffalo certainly could give it, but…
Given the state of the rental market, a 25 year old center who wants a top 6 role and has no contract next season would take home the top prize of the deadline - not priced as a rental, but a bidding war instead;, the Sabres would be able to get so many teams interested they’d probably get one outlandish offer. It is way easier to see happening than them trading some young guy who has a 7 year contract, but that guy gets an article a week about his trade worthiness. I’m picking the guy who doesn’t have a deal next year, who just got there and didn’t extend.
Can’t convince me Detroit wouldn’t be pleased with a deal here after copp’s injury. Or Anahiem. Or Minnesota. Maybe St. Louis I’m just biased to my team but we don’t have the right asset to send back tbh.
I think it would be like the year they acquired Brian Boyle. Just wouldn’t bring the same energy he’s always shown against us and we’d feel dirty for having him on the team.I legitimately don't know how I'd feel about that, that would be a weird sight.
Bolts just blew their load and my Caps aren't gonna pay Boeser's asking price. We rarely trade 1st round picks.brock boeser to washington or tampa bay
hmmm...I wonder how close this came to be.Marner for Rantanen
So about thatI highly doubt Zacha goes anywhere unless its a gross over payment. I also doubt we go rebuild.
Bruins will tweak and flush, nothing more. The fact the Bruins are 2 games over 500 with this current roster shows how bad the league is.
Lots of crappy teams. No thanks to a rebuild
Ha! dont even need a three-way for that. Just have a habs fan say that Savard will get Toronto's 1st at the next TDL.The Canadiens, Canucks and Leafs have a three-way deal that ends all life on the HF servers for 36 hours.
I saw a few sources that mentioned this being discussed (deal including Marner for Rantanen). Apparently the former shut it down.hmmm...I wonder how close this came to be.
