Is that the expectation? I'd reunite 44 and 8 but put Clarke With Gavrikov and Edmundson with Spence. Feel like I can get more offense out of Gav/Clarke and Spence is used to playing with someone with little offensive talent.

I would as well but for whatever reason they like Eddy with Clarke

Not true, 3 months was the projection - he’s not going to be back until the 4 month mark. I wouldn’t necessarily label that ‘early’.

Either one would be taken on the wire and I think they know it.

It better be Burroughs or a trade.

As Byfield learned from Kopi and Kempe, so could DD mentor Clarke on a pair.

Man I WISH they could keep together Gavrikov/Anderson as the 2nd pair, that would be nutso.

Imagine landing Lindholm or Byram or to a lesser degree Pettersson (pitt) and

Doughty/Lindholm
Gavrikov/Anderson
Edmundson/Clarke
Spence/Moverare

and keeping Burroughs and Englund buried where they should be
 
Hope they can get something for Englund and Burough. Would like to use them to get Bjugstad from Utah and Klim Kostin from the Sharks. Those two + Jeanot would be a hell of a 4th line.

The best they can hope for in exchange for Burroughs is a roster spot when he clears waivers. He is sub-replacement level.

Englund is a fine 7th guy, provided that the 7th guy is in the pressbox, and not dressed for a paltry 3 minutes.

Imagine ankle surgery has the time to heal, then time to get ankle in skating shape. Then Doughty needs to get up to game speed. Going to take a bit.

Careful dont give Hiller any ideas he will start dressing 17 dmen and Kopitar. 1-17
 
The PP has been bad so he can goo back to PP1 but 3rd pair to start 5v5.

We just saw what happens with Moore and Lewis.

If winning changes need to be slow.
